The stripes of the Cheshire Cat

Remember me saying I might do the whole wonderland cast in this way: [link] ? Well, I decided to do just that

First of all: Cheshire Y U NO have a definitive gender?!?!?!
I so wanted to stop drawing androgyn characters!!! But I failed miserably! FAILED!

But oh well whatever nevermind I promise the other wonderland characters will be better defined, gender-wise that is. Have to learn how to draw the manly men after all!!!
As for Cheshire here, just see it as a girl or boy or whatever you like better. Actually what would you like better? If it was a feminine male or a boyish female? Tell me, tell me x3

Concept:
I'm trying to draw all wonderland characters with an unusual twist. I don't want to depict them in their usual role in wonderland or in a twisted version of wonderland (the way McGee did), but as more or less normal people, whos deseases, addictions, mental illnesses, ticks, states of minds and many more actually FORCE them into the role of those mad residents of wonderland. They were, never meant to be, but rather became the role they play now.

In Cheshires case, it's subjected to the delusion that it'll one day disappear into thin air. Physically, it imagines that one day it'll simply unravel along it's scars like a ball of yarn. Mentally it's losing it's "self".
